Microsoft 365 - Authenticator Setup Guide - Multi-Factor Authentication

1. Go to https://portal.office.com and enter your firstname.lastname@saskdlc.ca

2. Enter your password and hit Sign In

3. You will now be asked for More information required

4. The next window will state "Start by getting the app". The Microsoft Authenticator app should already be installed on your company provided mobile device (iPhone). Click Next.

5. You will now be presented with the following screen. Click Next then go to Step 6 where you will need your company provided iPhone to scan the QR Code on your workstation's screen.


6. Open your phone and go to the App Store or Google Play Store and download Microsoft Authenticator.

Open your phone > Go to Authenticator.

7. Enter your Passcode for your phone.

8. Go to the + sign in the top right.

9. Choose Work or school account.

10. Go to Scan QR code

Scan the QR code and this will add your account to the Microsoft Authenticator app. The process should now be completed on your workstation.
You will now be required to authenticate with the Microsoft Authenticator app going forward.
