How to search for content in Sharepoint
Searching for document names
1. Sign in to Sask DLC Sharepoint

2. Use the Search Bar at the top of each Sharepoint page to search for a document.
- You can look for content by searching for keywords, a specific phrase enclosed in quotation marks, or by values that are assigned to properties

3. The search results will be displayed by relevance. Click on a file to open it.

- You can sort the results by clicking "all documents," selecting "add or remove fields," and checking or unchecking boxes to restrict or broaden your search.



Searching words or phrases inside of documents
1. With a document open in Sharepoint, search for a word or phrase at the Search Bar at the top of the screen
- Select "find in document" from the dropdown

2. A Navigation Bar will appear on the left side of the screen
- In the search bar, you can search for a word or phrase
- Using the arrows will show each instance of the word or phrase appearing in the document
